Lagoa

Visit the winery, the Adega de Cooperativa de Lagoa, which produces red, white, rosé and fortified wines. An hour long tour will show you how they are made and allow you to sample the produce.

 
Silves
Visit the historic market town of Silves, once the Moorish capital of the Algarve . The castle is the towns highlight with beautiful views across the town and countryside, but you can also visit the Cork Museum , cathedral or just wonder around the cobbled streets.
 
Monchique
Take a drive up the mountains to Monchique, a busy market town, or continue further up to Fóia through the pine and eucalyptus trees to the highest point in the Algarve , which commands stunning views on a clear day. Scattered with restaurants all the way, Monchique is an enjoyable day out.
 
Portimão
Visit the Algarve’s second most important fishing port for shopping in the centre or on the gypsy market which is one of the biggest and best in the Algarve . Also from here, are a variety of boat trips available up the coast or up river to Silves.
 
Lagos
Visit the historic town of Lagos for the day to see the Marina and beautiful stretches of beaches.
