Carvoeiro |
You can walk straight onto this beach from the square in the centre of Carvoeiro, although parking may be a problem in the height of the season. There are some water sports available in the holiday periods and also volley ball nets. Easy access to the bars and restaurants in the square. This beach can get quite busy. |

Centianes |
This is a short drive or moderate walk along the road heading East from the village centre. There are steps leading down to a long beach and bar/restaurant and toilets. This is a popular beach and offers some afternoon shade. |

Carvalho |
This is a small cove further east of Carvoeiro past the Rocha Brava complex with a car park on the Club Atlantico development. It is accessed by a long flight of steps and through a tunnel. |

Benagil |
This is a small beach backed by cliffs, parking is a problem, the only place being the roadside of a steep hairpin bend. There are usually fishing boats on the beach. There is a bar, and public toilets available. |

Marinha |
This is a nice size beach accessed by a long flight of steps from a parking area at the top. The views from the parking area are stunning. |

Albandeira |
This is a small two part beach amid rocks accessed from a 3km track signposted from the road between Benagil and the International School on the N125. It has parking and is just a few steps down to the beach and Snack Bar. |

Armacao de Pera |
This very long beach runs directly in front of the village and then continues on in an easterly direction. It is distinctive by the lack of cliffs. |

Praia Grande (Ferragudo) |
This is a large beach and is accessed by a few steps from the limited parking area. There are many beach bars and restaurants to chose from, and also offers water sports. |

Pintadinho |
This is a little further along the coast from Praia Grande. You can walk straight onto the sand from the parking area, there is also a beach bar and some afternoon shade. |
