Sand Sculpture Festival |
| This is an annual event held during the Spring and Summer months. It has a variety of impressive sculptures made from sand. This years theme was fantasy and fairy tails. Workshops are also available to make your own masterpiece! |

In Almancil there is a 760m circuit for karting and a children’s circuit, a mechanical bull and disco bar. |

You can play tennis both at Rocha Brava and at Carvoeiro Club, rackets can be hired at both centres. |

You can hire push bikes and mopeds from a shop on Rua do Barranco (the road running from the square out towards Lagoa) the last shop on your left before the one way system ends. |
