Welcome to Casa Clara, a beautifully renovated villa nestled in a peaceful and friendly residential neighbourhood in Carvoeiro. Located just a 10-minute walk from the renowned 'Restaurant Hill', this stunning property offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. You'll find yourself surrounded by family-friendly golf courses, breathtaking cliff walks, and spectacular beaches—all within easy reach, less than a mile away. Praia de Centeanes beach is just 2km from your doorstep, perfect for a quick dip or leisurely stroll.
The villa boasts a striking circular hallway with a beautiful spiral staircase as its centrepiece, setting the tone for this light-filled home. The modern open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is infused with natural light and decorated in a fresh contemporary style. You'll find a cosy wood-burning fireplace, satellite TV, Wi-Fi throughout, and air conditioning units keeping everything comfortable. Two sets of double-glazed patio doors open onto covered entertaining areas, leading to landscaped gardens and access to a standard pool (9x4.5 metres) with heating. (heating available at an extra cost).
Inside, the villa features three spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. You'll have four beds in total—two doubles and two singles—spread across the bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to six guests. The three bathrooms include two with showers and one with a bathtub, all beautifully appointed. The master bedroom on the first floor opens onto a spacious terrace with lovely sea views and far-reaching vistas of the Monchique Mountains—the perfect spot for yoga, sunbathing, or enjoying sundowners.
The fully equipped independent kitchen includes a hotplate, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, and all necessary kitchenware and dishes. A downstairs cloakroom adds extra convenience for guests.
The atmospheric courtyard features a traditional BBQ for alfresco dining, whilst an external utility room with a new washing machine and drying area keeps everything organised. All doors and windows have been upgraded to the highest standards with individual electrically operated shutters, and a new burglar alarm system provides extra peace of mind.
Parking is easy with two private outdoor spaces in the same building, accessed via a private driveway. The property is very bright and cosy, making it an ideal retreat for families and groups. Essential amenities, wine glasses, a dining table, coffee and tea maker, cleaning products, hangers, iron, first aid kit, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher are all provided for your convenience. Youth groups are welcome, though please note that pets are not permitted, and smoking is not allowed inside the villa.

The Villa Casa Clara is a well designed spacious open plan and fully equipped Villa with a spacious pool and outside living area.
The beds and bedding were above expectations and we slept very well due to the security blinds keeping light out.

Personally I would say a car hire would be good but Uber taxis are cheap.
I found the Villa was more like a 25 minute walk to the bay and main area with uphill stints returning. (We had young children.)

This is our second visit to Casa Clara and we were not disappointed. It was just how we remembered, perfect. It doesn't feel like you are staying in a rented villa, it feels just like home. The Jacuzzi was an added bonus this year which we all enjoyesee more

The villa has improved since our last visit (we didn't think it could be improved as it was perfect). It was amazing, it doesn't feel like a rented villa, it feels like home. Thank you to Elite rentals for their service and thank you to the owners of the property for allowing us to rent their spectacular home. We have already booked twice for next year and from my recommendations to friends and family, they have also booked.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
This superbly appointed and furnished house offers three air-conditioned bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and fitted wardrobes. 2 of the bedrooms can be set up as double or twin beds and the other has twin beds.
There is a fully fitted kitchen and spacious lounge and dining area. The private driveway has space for several cars to park. For colder months there is a wood burning stove.
There is a private swimming pool (9x4.5m) which can be heated for an additional fee. The pool area is surrounded by stunning mature gardens and stairs lead to the roof terrace which has a distant sea view. There is table and chairs for external dining and BBQ.
Fibre optic internet access is also provided. The property itself is double glazed throughout and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months.
The house is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (takeaway available), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools (one heated in the winter), children’s pool, kids club and a dive school. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf to enjoy and other activities and entertainments are provided daily by the resort during the summer months. (Note - some activities incur an extra charge payable directly to the resort)
The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraiso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.
Carvoeiro itself was originally a fishing village and still retains that small-scale charm. There are many restaurants here to choose from, with all tastes seemingly catered for. There are also many cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by, either down by the beach or in the village itself. Often during the summer months you’ll find live music or other entertainments being provided in the square by the beach. If you don’t then want to do the return walk to Quinta do Paraiso, there are always plenty of taxis readily available to give you a lift back.20 reviews -
Casa Thea is a three bedroomed semi-detached villa located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Carvoeiro but within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the village centre.
The villa features three air-conditioned bedrooms and three bath / shower rooms. The master has a king-sized bed, built in wardrobes and ensuite wet room. Bedroom two is a double with ample storage and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom three is set up with two single beds, built in wardrobe and is adjacent to a third shower room.
The lounge and dining area is spacious with internet smart TV, Wi-Fi hub, Bluetooth speaker, log burning stove, comfortable seating and dining table for six.
Through a good sized, fully fitted kitchen there is access to a courtyard with laundry room and staircase leading to a roof terrace with seating. The kitchen is equipped with built in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher along with a number of small electrical appliances such as Dolce Gusto coffee machine, blender, toaster and iron.
Leading from the lounge, patio doors open up to the pool area which was extensively refurbished in Spring 2023. A new barbecue and outside dining area are protected by a modern pergola with adjustable roof. A comfortable seating area is located under a shaded veranda area. There is ample space around the pool for the sunbeds and umbrellas and there is also a new area of artificial grass.
A car is not essential as restaurants, bars and shops are within easy walking distance. However, those travelling with a car will appreciate off road, gated parking and sun protection of a carport.
