Description
Monte Dourado 1 is a spacious and well equipped two bedroom apartment on the very popular Monte Dourado complex in Carvoeiro, this apartment is ideal if you want to be a short distance from the town and beach without the noise of an apartment right in the center. This ground floor apartment with a great sized terrace is situated on one of the smaller Monte Dourado blocks which shares a pool with just 12 apartments so it´s a great place to relax in the sunshine.
The space:
On entrance to the apartment there is a small entrance hall leading through to a bright lounge with TV, DVD player and CD player as well as a selection of books for your enjoyment. The Wi-Fi and TV system has just been upgraded for 2019. The lounge has comfortable seating for 4 people and a dining area with table and chairs for 4, there is a wood burner available if you are renting the apartment through the winter. The lounge opens up onto the terrace area where there is a dining area with pool views and easy pool access. The Kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully equipped with everything required to prepare and serve meals. There are two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with 2 singles) and two bathrooms. The apartment has been well decorated throughout and we hope it has everything to make it like home from home, it offers a good amount of space for a two bedroom apartment so ideal for families, couples or groups of friends The terrace area looks over the pool which is a lovely spacious area with loungers and parasols and as well as the main pool it also has a separate shallow pool area ideal for young children. There is also a heated pool available in the winter months, this is just a few minutes away from the apartment. The Monte Dourado has a reception service with also tennis courts available for hire, all equipment can be hired at reception.

Wonderful accommodation
This is a great place to stay. Close to central area at beach plus all the dining options. And ladies this is important, actually has an electrical plug for blowers/flat-iron in each bathroom at the mirror!! This is a 1st I'vesee more

This is a great place to stay. Close to central area at beach plus all the dining options. And ladies this is important, actually has an electrical plug for blowers/flat-iron in each bathroom at the mirror!! This is a 1st I've had throughout Europe & UK. Finally can see what I'm doing with my hair!! I know guys you're chuckling however it's a small BUT important detail. Had everything we needed in a "home away from home"! Even had beach umbrellas and sun hats to use. Pool was literally right in front of our patio. Near great golf courses too. Highly recommend and when we are there again will book it! |

Property situated up the hill with 3 access roads down into town. Yes, the climb back up could be a challenge at first, but that soon goes away. You are a 5 minute walk to the centre of Carvoeiro. The property itself has been upgraded and was quite comfortable. It was cooler than normal when we were there but there were enough heaters in the bedrooms, bathrooms and living room to remove the chill. It is on the ground floor with a comfortable patio overlooking the pool but little else to look at.

The property is in a great location with easy access (there are hills to climb) to the centre of Carvoeiro.
