This fabulous two-storey townhouse commands an elevated position on the prestigious Vila Castelo traditional development. In less than ten minutes you can walk to the stunning Praia Grande beach which offers several excellent restaurants including Club Nau which hosts live music events throughout the year.
The beach also offers water sports. The centre of Ferragudo can also be reached on foot in under ten minutes and here you will find winding cobbled streets with traditional restaurants and small independent shops. You can watch the fisherman bring their fresh catch in on the boats and enjoy wonderful fresh fish cooked on an open fire in one of the several restaurants on the water front. Ferragudo is full of charm and character and close by there is the highly popular town of Carvoeiro, the marina of Portimão and historic Silves to discover. There is even a water taxi in the summer months to take you across to Praia da Rocha. For those that want to explore the Algarve coast line, Lagos and the natural beauty of Ponta da Piedade is less than a 40 minute drive away.
The townhouse is ideally placed, set just back from the road in a quiet location but close to all amenities. On entrance, there is a fully fitted kitchen and open plan lounge and dining area. A south facing balcony with sea views leads from the lounge and has external dining area with awning to provide shade.
On the lower level there is a twin bedroom with a private north facing terrace, ideal for some morning sun. This bedroom has the use of a full bathroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and further terrace leading from patio doors, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun.
Just a few steps away, the town-house enjoys access to the communal pool which has a snack bar, plenty of sun loungers and regular activities hosted by the condominium. A car is not necessary but if you need parking there is plenty of space with the apartments.

You can make sure that the furniture around the pool is replaced because there were torn cushions. The mattress for the double bed deserves to be replaced because the springs are getting old.

In addition, there are no shops nearby for quick shopping without taking the car. The place is quiet, without noiseparty people, making it an ideal place to relax in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend this dream rental.

Very nice, spacious, cozy and quiet cottage. The swimming pool is nearby and the center and the beautiful beach are within walking distance. From the terrace you can see the sea in the distance. The apartment is on a dead end street, so very quiet. Osee more

Casa das Escadinhas is located within the enchanting cobbled streets of Ferragudo. This unique property has been lovingly and tastefully renovated providing the comforts of modern life whilst maintaining the charm of a traditional property. The inviting entrance gives way to a stylishly furnished and well-equipped lounge, kitchen, and dining area. Situated between Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, Boa nova is a small complex of properties with large communal swimming pool and tennis courts. Praia dos Caneiros is less than five minutes by car and there are several excellent golf courses within a fifteen minute drive. The property is on the first floor and on entrance there is a spacious modern kitchen with high quality appliances and is open plan with the lounge and dining area. Patio doors lead to a large terrace with external dining and lounge furniture to enjoy the views to Monchique and across to Portimao. There is a bathroom on this floor also. Stairs lead to the upper floor which offers 2 bedrooms facing south, one with twin beds and a the second with King size bed. The king size bedroom benefits from patio doors to a small terrace. These bedrooms share the use of a bathroom with bath over shower. The master bedroom has king size bed and faces north with views of the mountains and has an en suite bathroom with large walk in shower and a large private terrace. The roof terrace has 360 degree views which are simply breath taking. There is a lounge area with fire pit, ideal for watching the magical sunsets. There is a built in exterior kitchen with charcoal and gas BBQ and sun loungers. The mountains, sea and views over Portimao can be enjoyed from this magnificent space.
