This superbly appointed and furnished house offers three air-conditioned bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and fitted wardrobes. 2 of the bedrooms can be set up as double or twin beds and the other has twin beds.
There is a fully fitted kitchen and spacious lounge and dining area. The private driveway has space for several cars to park. For colder months there is a wood burning stove.
There is a private swimming pool (9x4.5m) which can be heated for an additional fee. The pool area is surrounded by stunning mature gardens and stairs lead to the roof terrace which has a distant sea view. There is table and chairs for external dining and BBQ.
Fibre optic internet access is also provided. The property itself is double glazed throughout and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months.
The house is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (takeaway available), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools (one heated in the winter), children’s pool, kids club and a dive school. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf to enjoy and other activities and entertainments are provided daily by the resort during the summer months. (Note - some activities incur an extra charge payable directly to the resort)
The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraiso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.
Carvoeiro itself was originally a fishing village and still retains that small-scale charm. There are many restaurants here to choose from, with all tastes seemingly catered for. There are also many cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by, either down by the beach or in the village itself. Often during the summer months you’ll find live music or other entertainments being provided in the square by the beach. If you don’t then want to do the return walk to Quinta do Paraiso, there are always plenty of taxis readily available to give you a lift back.

We spent 10 days in this lovely villa. We enjoyed the pool and this very beautiful house. It was quiet and peaceful. Just a 10 minute walk away you reach downtown Carvoeiro with its small restaurants and bars and of course you can access the beach. Nsee more

This was a magical place that exceeded our expectations. Swimming in the heated pool under the bright sun with serene backyard setting was a great way to spend the afternoon. A short walk downhill gets you into town where even in winter season there see more

A short walk downhill gets you into town where even in winter season there are ample restaurants open to give you good options. Evenings we loved curling up with a good book in front of the stunning wood burning fireplace. We were sad to leave but plan to return.

We spent 10 days here as 5 adults, 1 child and an infant and the space was great. It was a good size for us all and the size of the pool was brilliant too! The villa was very well equipped, especially the kitchen which had absolutely everything we cosee more

The villa is a little bit tired in places and things like the hand rails in the bath rooms were a bit rusty so could do with replacing. It also seems a shame not to have any seating on the roof terrace as the views are lovely up there. The area of the villa is within walking distance of the village and the actual resort it’s on is really lovely and so peaceful! We would stay again.

Very nice and spacious Vila for a family of 5. Easily could fit 7 people. Very well equipped, big swimming pools, barbecue. Cleaning lady came once to clean a house and change towels which was very nice. Surroundings would needa bit, but I understandsee more

The instructions with map and description how to find the key was clear and easy to follow. The local hostess, Mariana, visited us the first day and helped us with some practicalities. We are very satisfied with oue stay in Katharine's house and we are already planning to come back next year.

Really enjoyed our time at the villa. Katherine and her team very responsive. Two umbrellas were broken and they quickly arranged for two new ones to be delivered and installed. Pool was cleaned three times during our 10 day stay.

Casa Thea is a three bedroomed semi-detached villa located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Carvoeiro but within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the village centre.
The villa features three air-conditioned bedrooms and three bath / shower rooms. The master has a king-sized bed, built in wardrobes and ensuite wet room. Bedroom two is a double with ample storage and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom three is set up with two single beds, built in wardrobe and is adjacent to a third shower room.
The lounge and dining area is spacious with internet smart TV, Wi-Fi hub, Bluetooth speaker, log burning stove, comfortable seating and dining table for six.
Through a good sized, fully fitted kitchen there is access to a courtyard with laundry room and staircase leading to a roof terrace with seating. The kitchen is equipped with built in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher along with a number of small electrical appliances such as Dolce Gusto coffee machine, blender, toaster and iron.
Leading from the lounge, patio doors open up to the pool area which was extensively refurbished in Spring 2023. A new barbecue and outside dining area are protected by a modern pergola with adjustable roof. A comfortable seating area is located under a shaded veranda area. There is ample space around the pool for the sunbeds and umbrellas and there is also a new area of artificial grass.
A car is not essential as restaurants, bars and shops are within easy walking distance. However, those travelling with a car will appreciate off road, gated parking and sun protection of a carport.

Located in a quiet road just a short drive from the centre of Carvoeiro, this renovated three-bedroom villa is a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Praia do Marinha, the stunning Benagil caves and Carvoeiro are easily accessible within a five minute drive.
The villa has been recently restored to a high standard. The fully fitted kitchen is modern and bright and has built in double oven, wine fridge and dishwasher. The room is open plan with the dining area which benefits from large patio doors with views to the garden. There is an entrance WC.
Leading down the hallway from the kitchen is a further dining area with patio doors leading onto an inner courtyard with seating area and BBQ. From here the stairs lead onto the roof terrace with panoramic views of the countryside and sea.
The lounge area is spacious with patio doors leading directly to the pool and covered terrace. There is a large smart TV and high speed fibre optic internet connection. The master bedroom has large double bed and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower.
Leading from the other side of the lounge are two further bedrooms which share the use a family bathroom with walk in shower and bath. One of the bedrooms offers twin beds and the other has zip and link beds so can be arranged as twin or double.
All three bedrooms have patio doors leading to the pool and garden area and have spacious built in wardrobes.
Externally there is a private driveway with space to park several vehicles leading up to the property with a covered car port.
The rear of the property offers a spacious outdoor entertainment area with a kidney shaped private swimming pool, approx. 12 x 5 meters, surrounded by a large terrace with sun loungers. For an additional fee the pool can be heated.
There is a large dining table and chairs under a retractable awning providing shade for the summer days along with a separate sofa lounge set for relaxing and taking in the beautiful sea views.
The house is finished to a very high standard and has been very well furnished. It is welcoming, modern and benefits from plenty of natural light. There is pellet burning central heating for the winter months which complements the wood burning fireplace in the lounge.
