Very nice place in a great location, close to Clube de tenis e padel. Everything in the area within 8 to 12 minute drive. Try Apolonia for stocking up - just down the road. Try Bon Bon for dinner if you don't have a mortgage. Extremely clean - exactlsee more

We had a good holiday at La Pausa. It's a spacious villa with a very well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. We went as a party of six adults and there was plenty of room for us all. The heated pool was lovely and warm and there was a gsee more

The heated pool was lovely and warm and there was a good selection of outdoor furniture. The welcome food pack which we bought was very handy as there is no shop within reasonable walking distance so you need a carUber to get shopping. The underfloor heating was a bonus as we went early in the season and it was cold at night.

We were unsure where to leave general waste so perhaps this can be included in an information pack, along with local shop etc. Also when cleaners and gardeners are due to visit.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa la Pausa! la maison correspondait totalement à la description faite par Katarina. Nous avions tout ce qu'il nous fallait pour passer un bon séjour, avec de beaux espaces, de belles chambres, la propreté impeccable. La piscine était propre et très agréable. l'environnement était très calme. Katarina a toujours répondu à nos question avec réactivité ! il faut compter 30 min à pieds pour descendre à la plage de Carvoeiro, sinon 15 min en voiture puis 5 min à pieds. Carvoeiro est une petite ville agréable où il fait bon flâner en journée ou le soir. Carvoeiro est idéalement situé pour visiter de nombreux villages et lieux touristiques aux alentours! Nous aurions bien prolongé notre séjour !

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
This superbly appointed and furnished house offers three air-conditioned bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and fitted wardrobes. 2 of the bedrooms can be set up as double or twin beds and the other has twin beds.
There is a fully fitted kitchen and spacious lounge and dining area. The private driveway has space for several cars to park. For colder months there is a wood burning stove.
There is a private swimming pool (9x4.5m) which can be heated for an additional fee. The pool area is surrounded by stunning mature gardens and stairs lead to the roof terrace which has a distant sea view. There is table and chairs for external dining and BBQ.
Fibre optic internet access is also provided. The property itself is double glazed throughout and there is a log burner in the lounge for those cooler winter months.
The house is conveniently situated close to all the main amenities at Quinta do Paraiso, being just a short stroll from the centre of the complex. Here you’ll find an excellent Italian restaurant (takeaway available), poolside bar, mini-market, three large communal swimming pools (one heated in the winter), children’s pool, kids club and a dive school. There is also a children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf to enjoy and other activities and entertainments are provided daily by the resort during the summer months. (Note - some activities incur an extra charge payable directly to the resort)
The walk into Carvoeiro provides stunning sea views and you’ll pass by the beautiful Paraiso beach (a hidden gem down a flight of steps cut into the cliff face, but well worth the effort once you’ve made it down) before walking into the village itself. Here you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants and from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grotto’s. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.
Carvoeiro itself was originally a fishing village and still retains that small-scale charm. There are many restaurants here to choose from, with all tastes seemingly catered for. There are also many cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by, either down by the beach or in the village itself. Often during the summer months you’ll find live music or other entertainments being provided in the square by the beach. If you don’t then want to do the return walk to Quinta do Paraiso, there are always plenty of taxis readily available to give you a lift back.20 reviews -
Casa Thea is a three bedroomed semi-detached villa located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Carvoeiro but within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the village centre.
The villa features three air-conditioned bedrooms and three bath / shower rooms. The master has a king-sized bed, built in wardrobes and ensuite wet room. Bedroom two is a double with ample storage and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom three is set up with two single beds, built in wardrobe and is adjacent to a third shower room.
The lounge and dining area is spacious with internet smart TV, Wi-Fi hub, Bluetooth speaker, log burning stove, comfortable seating and dining table for six.
Through a good sized, fully fitted kitchen there is access to a courtyard with laundry room and staircase leading to a roof terrace with seating. The kitchen is equipped with built in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher along with a number of small electrical appliances such as Dolce Gusto coffee machine, blender, toaster and iron.
Leading from the lounge, patio doors open up to the pool area which was extensively refurbished in Spring 2023. A new barbecue and outside dining area are protected by a modern pergola with adjustable roof. A comfortable seating area is located under a shaded veranda area. There is ample space around the pool for the sunbeds and umbrellas and there is also a new area of artificial grass.
A car is not essential as restaurants, bars and shops are within easy walking distance. However, those travelling with a car will appreciate off road, gated parking and sun protection of a carport.
