The house has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with patio doors leading to a private courtyard with external dining area and BBQ featuring a mature Olive tree to provide shade in the summer months.
Wooden stairs lead to a mezzanine level with double bed. To the rear of the property is a small room with bunk beds and a bathroom with large walk in shower. The décor and furnishing of the house is welcoming light and has a holiday feel.
The beach in Carvoeiro is a an easy 10 minute walk and restaurants, bars and shops can be reached by foot. Several other excellent beaches are close including Centeanes which is excellent for families with a good restaurant/snack bar and water sports/boat trips offered. The famous seven hanging valleys walking trail starts at Centeanes beach and it well worth the effort for the views of the magnificent coastline.
There is free public parking available outside the house. There are several golf courses within a ten minute drive and there is a water park within a ten minute drive.

We had a great time at Katharine’s place, the house was perfect, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great with shops a very short stroll from the house, parking across the road and the beach less than ten minutes awasee more

This place was ideal for an Algarve vacation. The place was as described. Walkable to the beach and restaurants and shops on the main street. The enclosed patio with outdoor shower was a great place to enjoy the outdoors away from the crowds. Parkingsee more

The enclosed patio with outdoor shower was a great place to enjoy the outdoors away from the crowds. Parking during the day was a little difficult in peak season but we were able to find parking in the evening. Had trouble with the lock opening when we arrived but Katharine was very responsive and got someone over to fix it asap. Overall would recommend for an easily accessible, convenient, clean stay in the Algarve.

Everything is available even bath towels for the beach and umbrellas ⛱️ Everything is within walking distance: the beach 500 meters away, restaurants, convenience stores.. The accommodation is very clean (bedding and towels that smell good). We would not hesitate to return to the Algarve to pack our bags again 🙂 Thank you Katharine!
